3 Students Named for the 2019 Carnegie Hall Honors Performance Series

We are pleased to share that the selections for the 2019 High School and Young Adult Honors Performance Series programs at Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House have been announced! After a difficult review process, our Selection Board has chosen Finalists from 49 United States, Washington DC, 3 provinces of Canada, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Poland, Qatar, South Korea, and Venezuela. Even more so than in the past, this year’s Selection Board was very impressed by the number and quality of applicants. At the bottom of this message, you will find a list of your nominees who applied for the 2019 High School and Young Adult programs with an update as to each of their acceptance statuses.

The following students auditioned and were accepted into the International Honor’s Music Performance Series Groups and will perform in the famous CARNEGIE HALL this February!!!

Elliott Cho, Violin, Honor’s Symphony Orchestra

Marina Lierberman, Violin, Honor’s String Orchestra

Alex Poklad, Bass Clarinet, Honor’s Band

These students are to be commended for their outstanding musicianship as they will represent Pacific Grove High School in February, 2019!  BRAVO!!!
