Welcome back to school PGHS parents, staff and students!
I am looking forward to a great school year and am happy to say we have a wonderful group of parent volunteers that will be dedicating their time and expertise to help bring academic, administrative, and school community support to the students and families at our school. The PTA supports our school in many ways by providing funds to on-campus clubs, hosting events that connect parents and staff, PTA scholarships and sponsoring the Sober Grad event to keep our newly graduated students safe on the night of graduation (to name just a few).
By joining the PTA, you will:
-Show your child that school matters, and that you are invested in their success.
-Demonstrate to your child that success in school is the pathway to college, a career and a productive life.
-Partner with the principal, other parents and staff to make our campus safe, welcoming, a hub of learning and a fun place to be.
-Share in events and experiences that make your child’s school days more memorable.
-Connect with other staff and parents.
-Make sure parents have a seat at the table when important decisions that affect your school are made.
-Financially support the efforts of the PTA, which directly benefit your child and our school.
While we appreciate any time you are able to commit, it is not necessary to volunteer to become a PTA member. Membership is only $25 and your contribution is tax deductible. It’s easy to join online at Pacific Grove High School PTA or download the membership form and pay via check or cash, which can be dropped off at the school office. You can also scan the QR Code with your phone to quickly join:

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, feel free to contact me at email at pghsptapresident@gmail.com.
